With dynamically changing infrastructure, the role of Fire Services has widened; it includes and is not limited to fighting fires, conducting rescue operations, handling train and vehicle accidents, chemical spillages, dealing with man-made and natural disasters, etc.

Dedicated to the development of Fire Services in the country, National Fire Service College plays a pivotal role in shaping the Fire Services. The main objective of this institute is to cater the training needs of various fire service organizations throughout the country and yield well-trained Fire Officers and Engineers, thus contributing in the capacity building of the Fire Services.
