Engagement of Retired Government Employees – Circular 1 (24 July 2025)

The Directorate General Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards (under the Ministry of Home Affairs) has issued a circular inviting applications from retired Government employees for engagement against 08 vacant consultant positions in the O/o DG FS, CD & HG.
Eligible applicants include retired Section Officers, Assistant Section Officers, or equivalent officials from Central Government Ministries/Departments, or Ex-Servicemen of the rank of Sergeant/Warrant Officer (or equivalent) from the Indian Air Force, Army, or Navy.
The circular outlines the eligibility criteria, job responsibilities, terms of reference, and the application procedure. Applications must be submitted within 10 days of the date of issue.

Engagement of Retired Government Employees – Circular 2 (24 July 2025)

The Directorate General Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards (Ministry of Home Affairs), invites applications for the engagement of 01 Retired Government Employee/Ex-Serviceman as a Consultant against the vacant post of Senior Staff Officer.
- Applicants must be retired from the post of Under Secretary / Section Officer or equivalent rank in Central Government or Ex-Servicemen (HFO/HFL rank in Air Force or equivalent in Army/Navy).
- Consultant role is based in the O/o DG FS, CD & HG.
- Applications must be submitted within 10 days of the issue date.
