The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been constituted at the National Fire Service College (NFSC), Nagpur in accordance with the guidelines for quality assurance in higher educational institutions.

The primary objective of IQAC is to develop a systematic mechanism for maintaining and enhancing the quality of academic, training, and administrative activities of the institution. The cell works towards continuous improvement by establishing quality benchmarks, documenting institutional processes, and ensuring effective implementation of quality-related initiatives.

The IQAC also acts as a coordinating body for various institutional data submissions and quality frameworks such as the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) and the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE).

The committee is chaired by the Director, NFSC, and includes representatives from academic, administrative, and support departments of the institution.
