
The SAFER Club conducted elections for its executive body to encourage student leadership, teamwork, and active participation in safety-related initiatives. The elected office bearers assumed responsibility for planning and coordinating various club activities, awareness campaigns, and technical events aimed at promoting fire safety, industrial safety, and disaster risk reduction among students.

A specialized session on Hydraulics of Fire Fighting Equipment was conducted to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of hydraulic principles used in fire protection systems. Special emphasis was given to the preparation and analysis of hydraulic network
diagrams, including identification of nodes, pipe networks, flow paths, and hydraulically remote points for fire protection systems. Through practical demonstrations and hydraulic calculations, participants gained hands-on experience in evaluating the performance of fire pumps, hydrants, hoses, sprinklers, and interconnected piping networks. The session enhanced students' ability to design, analyze, operate, and optimize firefighting water supply systems in accordance with engineering principles and fire safety standards.


As part of the annual AGNI event, the SAFER Club successfully organized a Technical Fest that showcased innovation, research, and technical excellence among students. The event featured Ideation Competitions and Paper Presentation Sessions, where participants presented innovative solutions and research findings related to fire engineering, safety management, and disaster mitigation. The fest received special recognition with the participation of Russian delegates, who attended the program and interacted with students and faculty members. Their presence added an international dimension to the event, fostering academic exchange and encouraging students to explore global perspectives in safety and fire engineering.
