Russian Delegation Explores NFSC’s Academic Excellence, Research & Innovation Ecosystem During the subsequent engagements, the delegation, led by Mr. Ivan Sergeev, Head of the Academy, along with senior officials Mr. Andrei Iarovoy, Ms. Tatiana Boiko, and Mr. Konstantin Sanin, held detailed discussions with Prof. A. R. Sontake, Director, NFSC, focusing on academic and research collaboration. An academic presentation was delivered by Dr. Dhananjay Singh, highlighting the academic framework, B Tech programme details, research initiatives, patents, and emerging areas in fire engineering. The delegates showed keen interest in NFSC’s research capabilities, consultancy potential, and advanced laboratory infrastructure. The delegation toured all 14 state-of-the-art laboratories, where they witnessed ongoing experiments and practical demonstrations. They actively interacted with B.Tech Fire Engineering students, engaging in meaningful discussions on innovative ideas and future autonomous solutions in fire protection aimed at reducing fire losses in both countries. The visit reflected strong mutual interest in advancing collaborative research, knowledge exchange, student faculty exchange ,online probrames guidance for PH.D scholars ,and technological innovation in fire safety and emergency response, further strengthening institutional ties between the two nations.
